She recently showed off her distinctive grills at a world music festival in the picturesque coastal town of Menton. But the diamond studded accessory was hidden from view on Sunday when she wore a safety mask for a game of paintball with her family in the south of France. The 54-year-old pop legend had arranged the event for son Rocco – who was celebrating his 13th birthday. Gearing up: David (left) and Lourdes Leon don their fatigues in preparation for a game of paintball on Sunday Also seen taking part were daughter Lourdes, 16, 8-year-old son David and long-term boyfriend Brahmin Zaibat, all of whom threw themselves into the popular pastime after climbing into their fatigues. Shortly before proceedings got underway dancer Brahmin was spotted grinning from ear to ear, while Lourdes looked a little concerned about what was to come as they waited in line. Meanwhile Rocco - Madonna's son with ex-husband Guy Richie - threw himself into his birthday treat with gusto and looked like something of a pro as he expertly trained his paintballing gun at members of his immediate family. On the attack: The fun gets underway, with the family wearing protective masks and fatigues for their game of paintball But while the day was all about Rocco, Madonna’s grills inevitably caught the eye whenever she raised her mask. Indeed the gold accessory was hard to miss – not that the hit-maker minded, having previously shown them off to fans with a string of shots on picture messaging service Instagram. As the day wore on Madonna was seen sharing a tender moment with David – the child she adopted from an orphanage in Malawi in 2006. An eventful day: The family get into the swing of it (left) while Lourdes Leon appears to have an admirer (right) Indeed, as he looked up at his devoted mother she appeared to say something to him, his face lightly cupped in a gloved hand. The family are currently holidaying in Villefranche-Sur-Mer on the French Riviera, and have previously been seen hiking and taking family bike-rides around the picturesque coastal region. The holiday also gave Madonna the opportunity to visit the annual Festival de Musique Menton – a classical music concert where she watched pianist sisters Katia and Marielle Labèque and Basque band Kalakan, with whom the singer is close friends.
